Okay, guys, if you have a Facebook, we need your help.

This person is pretending to be Gary, and while this isn’t an uncommon occurrence, this one in particular is one of the worst kinds.

They’re interacting with fans (pretending to be Gary), and worst of all, they’ve been posting on Alex’s wall, again interacting with fans, but even creepier, they keep saying things like “I love you darling” to Alex herself, and thanking others for their Christmas wishes to Alex and Gary. It makes me uncomfortable, so I can’t imagine how it must make her feel.

We have all heard and read Gary say numerous times that he does not have a Facebook, or a Twitter, or any other form of social networking, and does not want any, so we know this isn’t him (not to mention the factual errors in the profile).

If we get enough people to report this person, then hopefully they’ll be removed from Facebook.

All you need to do is go to their profile, and up in the right corner, click the little button that looks like a cog (like the preferences button here on Tumblr), and then hit “report/block”. When the new page pops up, click the radio button that says “This profile is pretending to be someone or is fake”, and then on the dropdown that appears, choose “Pretending to be a celebrity”, and then enter Gary’s name when the text field shows up.

Spread the word, guys, we need to get this creeper off Facebook.
